Halloween in the UK 2017: Movies and Costumes

With Halloween coming up, at ID we wanted to find about which films and costumes people love. Using Google Trends, hardcore Horror movie fans and Halloween enthusiasts we looked into search interest in the past five years in the UK. We picked 75 movies including classic titles and most recent releases from 2011 to date.

Key findings include:

• 30% of the top interest horror films include zombies
• 1960’s Psycho is the top movie in search interest in the past five years
• Zombies were the second most popular costume choice in the past week
