Mobile Friendly & Quick Site Speeds; Important SEO Updates

Google made an important announcement a few days ago via the Webmaster Central Blog about the significance of having a mobile friendly website that facilitates a great user experience for mobile device users.

This isn’t the first time Google has referenced the importance of having a website with mobile/tablet friendly pages. However, this is the first time in a long time Google have made an announcement about an update prior to the update going live.

It has also been reported this week that Google is testing markup within search results that indicates to a user if a website is relatively slow or not:
