Is Your Website Not Mobile-Friendly Yet? Ingenuity Digital Announce Mobile SEO Offering

Following on from Monday’s announcement that Google will be increasing the relevance of mobile friendly websites from the 21st of April 2015, Ingenuity Digital have launched a specific mobile SEO and responsive design, optimisation service. Our clients already receive this service and we wanted to be sure that any potential clients understand that they can receive just the same.

The concept behind the service is as follows; a website can be mobile ready with a number of different offerings (in order of preference):

Responsive Web Design

– A responsive web design delivers the same HTML to all visitors but uses CSS to alter the design to match the device screen size. The site you are on right now does this, try resizing the screen horizontally (notice how the text always stays in the window).

Dynamic Serving

– The server responds with differing HTML and CSS dependant upon the device size that has made the visit.

Separate URLs

– Each webpage optimised for desktop also has a corresponding webpage optimised for mobile. This means that two URLs exist for each webpage and the user is redirected to the most appropriate (mobile pages are typically found at http://m.example.com).

If you are already implement one of the above offerings then fantastic. But is that mobile solution optimised correctly? The goal of our mobile SEO solution is to ensure that your offering is optimised correctly for both users and search engines.

If you are unsure or need more advice about mobile digital marketing, then please feel free to give us a call. 2015 is the year of mobile so ensure you don’t get left behind.
